The Rude Native never passes up a reason to celebrate, and this week the Rude crew along with a parade of friends and patrons took to the streets of downtown Burlington and Waterloo to celebrate Cinco De Mayo. Lead by their very own Mariachi and dressed in traditional Mexican sombreros the festive ensemble made their way to various neighbourhood establishments to celebrate the Mexican culture of food, music, beverage and customs and to honor the bravery and victory of General Zaragoza's much smaller and outnumbered militia at the Battle of Puebla in 1862.
¡Viva México!
But the party is not over, festivities continue this Saturday with the "Cinco Saturday" party at the Rude Native.
